A major benefit of the Main Line Chess Club is the opportunity to receive guidance and game review from highly experienced players and instructors. USCF Expert Ed Roche, our Activities Director (who also generously contributes about $1,000 in prizes to our annual club championship!), and our resident National Master Dan Heisman, give advice and will go over members’ games, which is like getting a free chess lesson!
Dan frequently uses games played at the Main Line Chess Club as instructional examples on his YouTube channel, Chess Thinking! with NM Dan Heisman, as well as on his website. For many members, that means a Tuesday night club game can turn into an online teaching example watched by chess players around the world.
