Fourth Annual Dr. John Bayley Memorial Tournament
Main Line Chess Club Championship
October 14 to November 11, 2025
$1100 in Cash Prizes, no entry fee required.
Tournament only open to MLCC members. Current membership fee is $30/year for individuals, $20 for Juniors under 18, and $50 for families.
Players are allowed one Bye in the first four rounds to retain eligibility for cash prizes. Players with more than one Bye or a Bye in Round 5 will not be eligible for cash prizes
Tournament will have two sections divided by rating. (1400 and higher and and below 1400).

Second place top section $150
Third place top section $125
Top Junior (Under 19 yrs. Old) in top section $50
Top Senior (over 55 yrs old) in top section $50
First place lower section $150
Second place lower section $100
Third place lower section $75
Top Junior (under 19 yrs. old) in lower section $50
Top Senior (over 55 yrs. old) in lower section $50
The tournament will be held at the MLCC site at St. George’s Church in Ardmore, PA, 1 W. Ardmore Avenue. Each of the five rounds to be played on Tuesdays. Players should arrive by 7:15 pm each week.
