MLCC Tuesdays in July: Tournaments & Rematch!
Get ready for an action-packed July at the Main Line Chess Club! We’ve got our ongoing tournament, a thrilling rematch, and a new tournament kicking off.
Current Tournament: Rounds 4 & 5
Our current 5-week regular tournament is getting exciting. Come out and play on July 8th (Round 4) and July 15th (Round 5). Remember, you don’t have to play every game, so even if you’ve missed some rounds, you can still join in!
Special Night: MLCC vs. Media Chess Club Rematch!
On Tuesday, July 15th, our club faces off against the Media Chess Club! This isn’t just any match – it’s our chance to get revenge for our last loss at their club. It’s a fantastic opportunity to test your skills and represent MLCC with pride.
The match is USCF rated and will happen at the same day and time as round 5 of our regularly scheduled tournament. Time Control G65/d10.

New Tournament Starts July 22nd!
A brand new 5-week G65/d10 USCF-rated Classical Swiss tournament begins on Tuesday, July 22nd. This is a great chance to get some rated games in! As always, the schedule is designed so you don’t have to play every game.
Important Notes for All Players:
- Chess players of all levels are welcome at our club!
- Please arrive before 7:20 PM to play.
- If you expect to arrive later than 7:20 PM, call 215-219-7599 to let the Tournament Director (TD) know you’d like to play.
Our Location:
We meet at St. George’s Episcopal Church, located at 1 W Ardmore Avenue in Ardmore, PA. You’ll find us at the intersection of Ardmore Ave. and Darby Road. There is plenty of free parking. (get directions)
