It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and long-serving president, Paul Petrillo, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 68. Paul was the club president for more than 15 years.
Paul was a steadfast presence at our club. He was present every Tuesday night like clockwork, welcoming members and visitors with a smile. His meticulous nature ensured our tournaments were organized and submitted correctly.
Paul was the type of person who was always in a good mood and never had a bad word to say about anyone. We were lucky to have him as our leader. The Main Line Chess Club will deeply feel his loss.
